"FORESTS : Nature at your service"
It is the global theme of World Environment Day 2011 as a support this year's UN International Year of Forests. In this year, UNEP has named India as the global host. Why India? Because India with its 1,2 billion people is the one of fastest growing economies in the world and continue to put pressure on their forests but has found solution to combat land-degradation and desertification. Do you know? the largest deltaic mangrove forest in the world was in Sunderbans India. India has successfully introduced projects that track the health of the nation's plants, animals, water and other natural resources.How are you Indonesia? Can you protect your forests?
